What’s its level of breathability?

A breathable fabric allows your perspiration to escape, rather than keeping it trapped inside. This ability is measured on a RET scale: the lower the number, the more breathable the material. This jacket has a RET of 12, which is a good level. You remain comfortable on both sides!

We keep everyone in mind! This jacket is available in 7 different sizes (XS to 3XL) as we know everyone is unique. What’s most important? That you feel comfortable in your jacket so you can set off to explore with complete peace of mind. Choose your style, and set off for adventure!

A jacket chosen to suit your expected level of exertion?

Ideal for outings with complete peace of mind: 2 hours at most, at a relaxed pace (5 km/hr), without hills. Good to know: when we sweat more than the jacket can wick away, moisture remains trapped inside. That’s why it’s important to choose your jacket according to your expected level of exertion.

To what extent is this jacket waterproof?

Our jacket is protected by a waterproof coating that can withstand 5,000 mm H2O (Schmerbers). An idea of what this means? It’s as if it can withstand a 5-metre column of water!

How do you restore its water-repellent properties?

To maintain your jacket’s waterproofing properties, nothing could be easier! Reactivate the protective layer every 3 washes or after 10 uses in the rain. Either: 15 minutes in a tumble drier, or with a hair dryer held 20 cm away. And that’s it... mission accomplished!

What is water repellency?

The fabric of this jacket is water repellent: it lets water slide over its surface without seeping in. In this way, the fabric doesn’t soak up water and stays light and breathable. The water-repellent property is achieved by treating the fabric's exterior: It doesn't use fluoride compounds.

This jacket is designed for hiking for 2 h at a maximum pace of 5 km/h, with no elevation gain.
