Your cross trainer's stride length is important

Cross trainers work all of your muscle groups (lower and upper limbs, torso, back, and core). The broader your movements, the more these muscles work and the greater your cardio intensity. This is also related to the resistance level you choose. This 120 cross trainer has a 33 cm stride length to make your workouts as comfortable and effective as possible!

The flywheel affects how smooth the cross trainer feels

At Decathlon, we want to give our customers and users clear, reliable information. Lots of companies will talk about the "inertia", the "flywheel" or even the "moment of inertia", which makes it hard to compare products. We've therefore chosen to give the actual weight of the flywheel, which has a bigger effect on kinetic energy and therefore on how smooth the cross trainer feels. The 120 cross trainer's flywheel weighs 6 kg. That's right!

Entry-price cross trainer with training programmes

The 120 cross trainer's console has 5 functions: calories burnt, distance covered, duration of workout, speed and heart rate with sensors located on the handlebars. This cross trainer is an entry-price model with 7 built-in programmes developed with our coaches to support your workouts. They allow you to adapt your workout to your goals (weight loss, getting back in shape, toning, performance, etc.).

Tracking your heart rate

Your 120 cross trainer is equipped with heart rate sensors. After a few seconds, your heart rate will appear on the screen of your console. The Hand-Pulse function (measures heart rate through the hands) should not be used by people wearing a pacemaker.

Easily move your cross trainer

Your cross trainer is equipped with roller wheels at the front. To move it, stand facing the front of it. Block the bike with your foot while pushing down on the handlebar to tilt it onto its roller wheels. Gently push it forward in the desired direction.

Maintenance and repairs

Decathlon and Domyos pay close attention to what happens to our products after they leave our stores. We manage our after-sales service ourselves and we guarantee that spare parts will be available for 10 years so that your product will last as long as possible! This product comes with a 2-year warranty for parts and labour and a 5-year warranty for the metal structure.

Lovely piece of kit

My wife purchased one of these through some scheme at work, I put it together following the instructions. I then began my first workout which was great. The following night I began my second workout and then it happened, the squeaking/creaking started, well something like this bugs me so after some thought and examination I’ve conquered the creak. Tip: wherever you have a joint or things are bolted together apply some grease before bolting together, problem solved 😉👍

Easy to build and looks nice but squeaks

This was a good price it seemed. Easy to build, looks good and the system is easy to use. The problem is it squeaks ALL THE TIME. Cannot work out which nut to loosen or tighten to fix it. Will be fine for days then suddenly it squeaks so loud I can't hear the TV over it and it's then unusable.

Looks solidly built

This took a bit longer to build than the 1/2 hour the manual suggested but the instructions were clear enough and there was nothing particularly difficult about it. Unfortunately the heart rate monitoring doesn't work well, there are only sensors on the fixed handles and if I do hold them the reading fluctuates wildly. The manual suggests you can use an uncoded analogue heart strap with it but doesn't specify further it would be a significant improvement if it worked with the Decathlon Bluetooth / ANT+ strap as many of the programmes require heart rate. It is pretty quiet in operation. It also seems someone saw the previous review complaining it didn't come with a UK plug adapter as my one did.
