I bought my Riverside 900 yesterday and I directly drove home from there. It was about 50 minutes ride and I did not feel any discomfort during the drive or post the drive. This bike is truly built for leisure + long rides. I went to the store relative late on the Sunday and Artur promptly helped me in choosing right bike, right size and right accessories. He quickly checked and found that the bike I wanted was available in the inventory. He built it in minutes and also installed the accessories for me. Even during the self check out, the attendant there helped me out with auto scanner and check out process. Thanks a lot Decathlon Uxbridge and I look forward to many more rides. Regards, KK
Overall this is a decent bike, nice and lightweight, comfortable. Main complaint is that it does not have enough gears with only 10 available and these are all low/easy ones. Even the 10th gear is not high/hard enough and I spend most of the time in this gear, never using anything below 5th. For a hybrid bike it desperately needs higher gears for faster cycling on flats and downhills. Would not have purchased in hindsight.

A good all rounder - I used this to build strength over several months then tackle a 500km ride mostly off road, over 4 days. My only real gripe is the top gear wasn’t great for distance riding. I’ve upgraded the chainring twice now - first from a 34T to a 38T (the largest available at Decathlon) and now to a 46T universal chainring. Average speed was over 2kph faster on first ride. All in all, a good all rounder and good value for money.

Such a brilliant bike, I'm very pleased with my purchase. Excellent off road / road bike.
I bought this bike last year to complete a sponsored bike ride down France in memory of my Great Uncle who made this trip having escaped from the Germans in 1940. Without a single problem at any stage, not even a puncture, I completed 4000 miles in training (including 66,000m of climbing) followed by the trip itself of 1200 miles and all in six months. If that isn't reliability, I am not sure what is. I haven't even had it serviced yet. Can't fault it and it is still going strong. Apart from changing the saddle for a more comfortable one, I didn't make any modifications at all. Great value for money all round and thoroughly recommmended.
This product has been brilliant since I got it last September. I cycle to work in which I do 113 mile a week and it do its job efficiently. I would highly recommend this bike.
Very nice bike I’ll recommended to everyone
Have been using the bike for ca. a month and does exactly what I needed a bike to do... I’ve been mostly cycling on flat-ish roads, up to 50k trips and so far I would qualify it as a very good bike. The bike is light enough so I cam carry it up and down stairs should I need to, and the weight also helps up hill. I’m likely to purchase another saddle to make it more comfy.
Picked the bike up from the Leeds store really great guys in the bike workshop set up perfectly, all running smoothly. Only had 1 ride as yet and felt really smooth on the road and coped with the hard compacted rutted towpaths. The bike will be living up to its name as I will be mainly sticking to towpaths and cycle tracks along the Calder.

Very nice and smart looking bicycle! Everything works perfectly and smooth after first use. A bit of squeaky noise in front during first use but starting to disappear so I’m sure it’s just natural mechanical “adjusting”. Easy to switch gears, light if you have to lift it and I like it a lot
For the price this bike was a joy to ride out of the store. Unfortunately within 10 months the cassette had worn down and needed replacing as the chain would constantly skip. It wasn’t too expensive to have repaired in-store but I’m definitely disappointed with the durability of the parts on this bike. Due to a global pandemic I didn’t have a chance to bring it in for a free service either.

The Riverside 900 is equipped with a Suntour NEX SF20 suspension fork with a lockable spring and adjustable stiffness.- Aluminium blade.- 1 inch 1/8 aluminium pivot.- 63mm travel.The stiffness can be adjusted using a simple adjustment wheel.

Tyre compatibility
If you find that you need to fit wider tyres on your bike, you can.Maximum dimensions with the Riverside mudguard: 42mm (ETRTO 42-622 standard)Maximum dimensions without mudguard: 47mm (ETRTO 47-622 standard)We have also tested wider tyres that are compatible with the City 9 (44-622), with mudguards and the TLE evolution (50-622) without a mudguard. The width can vary, all 44 and 50 tyres are not always compatible.
