Pitching/striking

Standard dome assembly: the bedroom is pitched with the poles, and the flysheet is then fastened on top.Reverse procedure when dismantling.

Mattress compatibility

We recommend you use the tent with the self-inflating or trekking mattress measuring 60 cm maximum. We do not recommend the use of inflating mattresses over 6 cm height in this tent due to the reduction in living space and resistance to condensation.

Ventilation

1 high rear ventilation point, space between the flysheet and the floor all around the tent: to allow the air to circulate between the sleeping area and the flysheet, to refresh the air and limit as much as possible the natural phenomenon of condensation.

Waterproofing

All Quechua tents are laboratory tested (entire tent under 200 L/sqm/h for 4 hours) and field tested. (2000-mm rated PU-coated polyester flysheet, 120g/sqm polyethylene groundsheet, all seams are sealed with thermobonded tape). A breathable polyester bedroom under the flysheet means you don't come into contact with the condensation that forms naturally on the inside of the flysheet.

Wind resistance

We test all of our tents in a wind tunnel on a rotating table to expose each side of the tent to the wind. A well-assembled tent with all the guy ropes properly deployed around the tent should remain habitable with a wind speed measured at 40 km/h near the ground (Force 5).

Warranty/after-sales service

As designers and users who love our playing field, we care about the durability of our products, that is why all our tents are designed to be repairable.Spare parts and pole repairs are available from your Decathlon workshop or on our website, at the following address:http://spi-atelier.decathlon.fr/atelier/produit/1871777If you have a problem, have your tent looked at in your nearest Decathlon shop.

CAMPING TENT ARPENAZ - FRESH&BLACK - 3 PERSON

Nice tent, shame about the poles!

The tent itself is fine, very dark, my daughter loves it. But the tent poles are very poor quality. Three of them cracked and splintered at the ends within three camping trips - these splinters are extremely sharp. I taped the ends up with gaffer tape but they now don't connect properly. I have had may tents over the years including a pop up from Decathlon but this is the first time I have had this problem. Decathlon need to supply this tent with stronger poles.

Tent

The tent is excellent best tent I've had with the black out

Pitch it

When I first saw it I thought it looks OK and not bad for the money, but when I actually put it up its nice and big and its very dark once the side are all up. How knows what goes on inside
