Slightly on the small side if you're using the water pouch, but I can't complain as it is as it's sold. There are plenty of storage options, two main cavities; one accessed by a zip and the other through the top of the bag; storage on the straps and two on the bottom at the back. For reference I can fit the water bladder, a baselayer, waterproof, map and compass and 4-5 snacks in it no problem at all. Only minor grievance is that the bag is quite hard to fill so that it doesn't get too top heavy and the bottom half flaps around a bit.
Thank you for taking time to review our 10 L TRAIL RUNNING BAG.
We are happy to hear that it's working well for you.
This is the first trail running bag I’ve owned and was bought to train with for a trail marathon later in the year. Tried a few in shops and the prices all seem to go north of this one, but this felt the most comfy and at a great price. I’ve not been disappointed, the bag is pretty adjustable to find the right fit so I’ve not had any issues with rubbing or chaffing on HM+ runs to date. On practice runs (25k +) The Kalenji 500ml trail running flask fits in the pocket like a glove, even when full and are is easy to drink from without extracting. The bladder also sits well when full and doesn’t rub, although (top tip) worth checking out the technique on YouTube for removing air to stop the water sloshing as you run! Not done the full monty with this pack yet, but have every confidence it’ll perform well. Great pack and great price, v.happy!
I didn't want to leave a review after 1 week and three runs in, I wanted to get to know the product well first; so here it is! I have been running with this bag for 5 months now, mainly trail, cross country, woods, footpaths, bridleways and even mountains of Wales for few days. Distances vary from 5 miles to about half-marathon, very rarely more than 15 miles and I run 3 to 4 times a week covering 30 miles weekly give or take. Now to the bag itself; fits like a glove! No chafing, rubbing, bouncing or anything I can fail it for. Fit is great, adjustment reasonable, pockets are tight and hold everything securely. Majority of the time I run with the main bladder only and keep my smartphone in one of the front (softflask) pockets; fits perfect and doesn't bounce. Soft flasks are a bit tricky to fit into the pockets, but I place them in empty and then fill them up with water, so not really a problem :) Having front pockets is very handy for those little essentials like a lip balm (yes yes, dry lips problem), dog poo bag, few jelly babies, dates, gels or other snacky bits on the go. The main compartment at the back is big enough for all my needs; if I'm unsure of the weather (we're in UK after all) I'll throw an extra long sleeve top or a rainproof jacket in there just in case. Inside the main compartment there's another little zipped pocket I guess dedicated for mobile phone, but I keep my little first aid kit and a space blanket in there. Durability is great; odd scratch here and there after battling bramble bushes, but nothing structural. Can't say too much about its breathability as I've been using it only through autumn and winter, but it seems pretty "meshy", so shouldn't get too sweaty in it :) Talking of sweat; it is easy to care for, mine has been hand washed few times just in soapy water, then dries pretty quickly and it is ready for another adventure! So 100% recommend to anyone. It meets all my needs; it's spacious, carries enough water for crazy duration of my runs, it's durable and insanely comfortable! Well done Decathlon! A very good quality product at a very competitive price!
Took out of the packet, looked slightly smaller, but when got in on, felt good, it was only training run, but had my poles in the loops, carried a soft water bottle, will give it a good go soon.
Great bag at a bargain price, I have run numerous marathons and ultra marathons in this with no problems. Great fit, no rubbing and room for all your gear
Nice piece of kit for trail running or walking. Comes with a bladder and tube or you can use the handy soft bottles which sit in the strap pockets. Will hold waterproofs and energy supplies but not much more.
This bag is brilliant!!!! Been looking for a new bag for long runs and ultras and this is perfect. I don't like having bottles at the front as I have boobs so this is perfect for me with the litre bladder and lots of pockets. Live the one at the back with a zip, and a stuff pocket at the back where I can stuff my jacket the ones on the front are great for gloves and snack xxxx thankyou
Was happy with the overall experience of purchasing a bag. The price was clearly visible and the staff in the shop were really helpful in directions to the item. The shop was cleansed to a high standard.
We are so happy that our staff were able to point you in the right direction and you are happy with your purchase!
Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback.

I bought this bag predominantly for the purpose of holding dog treats, poo bags and a lead when running with my dog after suffering for such a long time with a bum bag. This bag has changed my life and has encouraged me in to the beautiful world of trail running, not just dog walks! It's easy to use, fits really well (I am a size 10 on top and wear the medium on the smallest setting), there's lots of pockets which securely hold everything I need! Next year I will be doing my first trail race and I will gladly be bringing this piece of kit with me :)
I've bought it for my running. Over the weekend I've completed half marathon - fully hydrated. Did not feel that there is a bag on my back, what is amazing.
I was a bit sceptical and afraid that about the fitting and the plasticky smell on the pipes. But this evadict hydration system really proofs me wrong. It fits perfectly when running and smooth hydration system. Can’t smell any plastics whatsoever.
I have used the 5L bag before but as I'm training for an Ultra I needed the extra space to carry everything I need. This bag has plenty of storage space and pockets.
I bought the size XL following the chest size recommendation. I used once, the bottles keep on jumping even with the straps fullly tight. Tried multiple ways of fixing the straps. Still the same problem. Not going to use it and not buying a second one.
This 10L Trail Running Vest was bought for a friend who is now running local trails, these packs are for me the best on the market (my wife has three), they are superb value for money, simply the best.
Excellent! Just completed a 66 mile race and the bag was sufficiently roomy enough to get in all the equipment needed to pass kit check. Better value than any of the more expensive vests.

With space for a 1-litre water bladder on the back (included, attached by hooking on) and 2 front pockets for 500-mL flasks, this bag allows you to carry up to 2 litres of water in total.Considering that you drink an average of 500 mL of water per hour while trail running, that gives you 4 hours of autonomy. Enough to give you peace of mind between aid stations!
Your bag comes with a one-litre water bladder included. It's suitable for temperatures ranging between -20 and +40°C, for water: no milk, no alcohol, and no putting it in the microwave ;)As to the tube, you can cut it to whatever length you like!
In trail running, every gram matters! Weighing 285 g when empty, your bag is truly lightweight. And to fit your personal requirements, it's available in 3 sizes (XS/S, M/L, XL) and is easily adjustable:- you can choose the height of the 3 front straps- thanks to its 2 side elastics, the bag stays so stable you'll forget you have it on when trail running
Trail running puts you in situations of extreme fatigue. That's why we've designed a bag that makes every move easy.- The water bladder tube is clipped on, so as to remain near your mouth at all times.- The mesh pocket at the back allows you to reach your rain jacket in one move.- The 110 dB safety whistle is incorporated into a front pocket.
Along with the whistle - mandatory in many races - which is located in the little chest pocket (hence near your mouth!), this bag also features 2 elastic straps on each side to attach your 3-section trail running poles.
"For us, it's a matter of pride to design and test our products ourselves. We wanted to make a bag we'd be proud to wear. I took part in 6 or 7 trails last year from China to the OCCⓇ in Chamonix.
