6 L Handlebar Bag with KLICKfix System ACTV 100

This bag is great! I use this, in combination with a Camera Bag insert to carry my camera when I go cycling. It's well made and easy to use. The only con is that it's not weathersealed without the cover, but other than that, it's great. I wish decathlon had a bigger one though. This is great, but I can't stuff a 70-200 in this unfortunately...

This product replaces the Riverside 500 6l handlebar bag which I also own and bought last year for £29.99. I thought that was plenty expensive enough given what I got but I gritted my teeth and paid for it anyway and fitted it to my Riverside touring 520 bicycle. I've now bought my partner the same bike and with it this product as the previous version is no longer available. This item is £10 (33%) more expensive and inferior. The 'click fix' mount is ill thought out with sharp ends from the restraining wire left protruding from the mount. The instructions even tell you to leave it like that. Surely the designer could have seen their way to providing a clip and ferrule within the mount to tuck the ends away from where they can do real harm. The bag itself is flimsy, thin, lacking the compartments of the other bag and the shower cover and bag lining an unfortunate diarrhea colour and very thin and not waterproof. I'm sorry Decathlon, but this isn't good enough. Instances like this with product I'm seeing all over the store in the past two years. I'm looking for an alternative and will be returning this item for refund. Poor and unsatisfactory value.
