Went to buy a baby surfing hat with chin strap and this is all they had in stock. My child constantly tries to remove this hat but the one with a strap is left on with no problems. Why can't they keep a hat with a simple feature in stock?
Material is lightweight with UV protection. Fits baby’s head fine. I like the additional flaps which cover the ears and nape.

Dobrá koupě.
Pro malou neposedu v letošních tropech ideální. Čapka pěkně sedla, nesklouzávala a tak prcek spokojeně mohl vykonávat všechny své objevovací činnosti, při kterých mu nic nepřekáželo ve výhledu. :)

What does upf 50+ mean?
UPF is a worldwide standardised sun protection value (Ultra-Violet Protection Factor).It defines the textile's degree of protection, and more precisely, the proportion of transmitted UV rays.It must keep out at least 95% of UV rays to meet the standard. UPF 50+ means that the textile blocks at least 95% of UVA and 98% of UVB.
Behaviour in the sun?
Although this hat provides protection from the sun, other factors such as reflections (from water, sand, etc.), heat, time of day, and so on, must be taken into account. Wearing this hat does not exempt the wearer from following the relevant advice: wear sunglasses, regularly apply suitable sun cream, wear a UV protection top or shorty suit, stay hydrated, etc.
