Fit and comfort in movement
These trousers have a straight cut. The stretch fabric thanks to the elastane content, the preformed knees and the gusseted crotch provide maximum freedom of movement.
Perspiration wicking
The synthetic, lightweight fabric wicks away perspiration towards the outside of the fabric. To guarantee this, we test it in the laboratory using several standardised tests. All our hiking trousers have a performance of 3/5
Quick drying
Drying time measures a fabric's capacity for drying quickly after being wet, according to a standardised protocol.
Product design: our expertise
Our Quechua global design centre is based in Passy, at the foot of Mont-Blanc in Haute Savoie. This location makes it a real meeting place for our teams (designers, product managers, engineers, etc) and outdoor sports enthusiasts. A great asset for designing your mountain walking products and providing you with all our expertise.
Our commitment to consume less water with this product
Textile dyeing requires a lot of water but also produces waste water from the dye baths. To reduce our environmental impact, we use a mass pigmentation process that involves adding the colour pigments when the yarn itself is produced. For these trousers, we were able to use this method for the black components and we are considering using it for the other colours.
Where do our trousers come from?
Created in our international design centre at the foot of Mont Blanc in France, these trousers are then manufactured by our suppliers in Bangladesh. We collaborate closely with these partners who have real expertise in the manufacture of trousers. Thanks to this relationship of trust with our industrial partners, we can create high-quality technical products.
Working conditions in our production workshops
We guarantee that our suppliers comply with our code of conduct. These suppliers are often located in developing countries where our presence helps to create jobs.By conducting audits and having teams on site, we make sure that the working environment of the employees meets certain quality standards in terms of human respect, personal fulfilment and environmental protection.

Product Reviews
Bought for light weight backpacking trousers
Super comfy trousers. Very stretchy. Less pocket space than others and not as robust, but still great for the price.
These trousers/shorts are cleverly designed (eg. different hidden zip colours for left and right leg) and engineered, but two things prevented me from keeping them: 1. The leg length is too long. Part of the clever design is an elastic cinch at the ankle, which could be used quite effectively to shorten them if it weren't for the (also clever) vertical zip which causes them to bulge out and look silly if you do that. So, clever idea: offer them in shorter lengths! 2. The pockets aren't part of the clever design. They may just about be big enough to take a smartphone but it then sticks out from the line of the garment in some very weird ways, regardless of which pocket you put it in.
