RC500 Cycling Shorts - Black

Although these are marketed as a cycling short, they are *shorter* than cycling shorts, much more like a triathlon short. They will ride up your legs within the first few km of your ride. Good for a tan I guess.

Work well, all as you would expect and good value

Wanted something for those summer rides when you want to go a little quicker than perhaps when wearing everyday shorts and tee-shirt. Fit well, consistent with a winter pair of long pants bought earlier. Excellent stretchy fabric and good grippy waist and leg hems but not too tight.

Had a pair of these for years and they eventually wore out so no-brainer to buy again. Quality much improved on these (I bought two pairs). Nice touches. I recommend.

This is 3rd pair I’ve bought and I feel the quality has been lowered. My first pair have out lasted the second pair which are a year younger. My newest pair feel looser around the waist and not as comfortable. Disappointed

Very comfortable and good quality this is my second pair and would recommend for anyone doing longer rides.

Good short in terms of fit and padding, I've been wearing it for 2 months ( ~1200km). Sadly the seams at the front just above the padding have prematurly tear up, leaving me with a hole exactly where you don't want one...

I really want to like these shorts. But having worn them for about 6 weeks, I can't get over the constant discomfort. They fit very well around my thighs, they have great padding, but they have a very low waistline which is poorly elasticated, and they feel as if they are constantly slipping down at the waist. They don't actually slip down; they just feel as if they are going to. For this reason, I can't recommend these as a purchase.

I am new to tight cycle shorts and was surprised at how very tight they are to pull on! However, once on, they are very comfortable thanks to the gel padding. They give good compression of the thigh muscles and the legs are held in place by the silicone coated elasticated bottoms. About the sizing: according to my hip measurement on the Decathlon sizing chart, I should be "extra small", but the smallest size available in these shorts is "small", so that is what I ordered. I certainly would not need a larger size as the gel padding wouldn't fit my backside.
