RoadR 100 Cycling Helmet - Black

Helmet is sleek, light, and the adjustable sizing means it fits well. It could have been great value for the money, but unfortunately due to insufficient packaging the helmet arrived damaged in multiple places, compromising the safety and deeming it useless. Despite me sending photos of the breaks in the helmet, Decathlon are insisting that I have to return the item to receive a refund, which seems rather a waste of time and effort to me given that they cannot resell it. Disappointed.

Having purchased this helmet following advice from a friend who uses the Roadr900 helmet, I found it to be an attractive and well designed product. My head shape is admittedly quite tall and lumpy, but I noticed there was a lack of padding on the top and back of the helmet that caused the plastic bits to press against my scalp when fitted down properly. This was despite me wearing my measured size and everything else fitting well. Additionally, the outer shell material seemed a little flimsy and there some puckering from the inner foam, though nothing extraordinary. I did also miss holes for my sunglasses but expected on such a reasonably priced product. Overall - you get what you pay for, and in this case an attractive package that does the job with a few niggles.

Just opened the box (that was damaged) and noticed that the top part of the helmet (the glossy black one) is poorly glued to the rest. It basically does not adhere properly and it feels like it is going to fall apart any time.

Very comfortable and light and I love the size adjustment on the back. By the end of my 15 mile ride home I isn't realise I had a helmet on, excellent.

Really light and comfortable

One thing I really like about this helmet is that it covers a large area of forehead which provides much better protection which other same price range helmet is lack of. Also I found the hard plastic is almost embedded inside the foam part which gives me a very durable feel. Overall, very nice product will definitely but one after this event.

Cool! Easy to manage .

Design looks outdated and there is only one piece of foam cushioning my head, please make for comfortable. Also please mold the plastic and thermofoam together felt very cheap as some plastic ends were seeming out.
