Product Reviews

It fits the purpose but for 20 pounds I would expect the gauge pressure to be more accurate, it stops at 5 bars even if you keep pumping air into the tyre.
I bought this pump before covid hit, went on my 1st ride with the pump on my bike and lots the end part of the valves. Tried several times to talk to the decathlon shop person about this and no solution was given, said to try on line. But this part is not sold separately. So basically a waist of money and time.
Bought 2 of these, one each for my partner and myself for our new bikes but neither of them will pump a tyre above about 40psi despite claiming to go up to 115psi on the packaging. Very disappointing and ultimately useless to us for our needs.
Pump well designed idea of the Brompton.
After lots of tinkering trying to get this to work I’m finding it very difficult, it doesn’t open the valve to let any air in or out. If there’s a video or some kind of instruction manual that consists of more than the images provided, any kind of tips or secret method people are using to get this thing to work send them my way. I can see it being very handy and want it to work quite badly
I bought it because it’s neat, compact, seemingly of good quality, and capable to meet the psi requirement of my tyres on my Triban RC500. It’s only yesterday, while doing the usual maintenance checks on my bike I realised that there is a missing adaptor. Not sure what’s the policy for return or exchange, or if one can obtain an adaptor from somewhere. The pump is pretty much useless. Just a reminder that one should completely inspect a product before purchase and not rely on the presumption that stores would ensure that what they sell are in usable condition. If adaptors are frequently stolen, maybe how the product is sold should be revised.
Hello J'Moul.
First of all thank you very much for getting in touch and for your feedback. In guess the adaptor that you mention is the one to use either with Presta or Schrader valves, if it's the case it should be included.
Please, visit any of our Decathlon branches and we will exchange the item for a brand new one with all the parts.
Have a good week.

Once ya get to know this pump and can feel its leaning under higher pressures, it becomes a very reliable tool when ya need it to be. prefer to a normal size hand pump, with the gauge ya can b confident ya aint over-doing it. The handle is what really makes it for me, being able to turn it 90 degrees to the barrel gives ya so much more purchase, and doesnt fell like yav been doing a heavy chest workout down the gym if am going over 80psi - though may b thats not so bad during these restrictive times lol. yes i do recommend it but will say... dont yank the chain like theres no tomorrow! had mine for 18 monthes and still in really good nic.
After a couple of uses this pump literally fell apart , the internal unit fell out and cannot be reassembled. I would not recomend
Hi Mark. Thank you for leaving a review. Please do take advantage of the 2 year guarantee that we offer with all Decathlon products to exchange the pump for a new one. If you are able to send any photos of the problem directly to me too that would be very much appreciated as part of our quality control checks.

Poor quality, makes odd clicking noise when operating, the dial didn't work, the dial cover is flimsy as is the needle inside will be prone to damage from light knocks. Handle isn't very comfortable to pump. Wish I never bought it rip off for the quality of it.
Thank you for your detailed feedback regarding this telescopic mini pump. Clearly the dial is faulty therefore please do not hesitate to return it to us for a refund or an exchange.

I or other people helping me could not get this up to the required PSI. It is impossible to pump up and is such a waste of money. I've had to buy a different pump now as this is totally useless

great pump, high and low pressure ised is good. it has one thing that lets it down it needs a dust/dirt cap on the end of the hose to stop water and dirt going down the hose when its mounted on my bike.
Ok for an emergency
It's light and I like everything about it. I had is since 2 months and today the handle fell apart in my hands.. poor quality.
Please return it to us for a refund or an exchange.

Increase the pressure
The telescopic body means you can pump in a large amount of air with each push.To increase the pressure as you finish pumping, the pump can be screwed down to reduce the diameter and therefore increase the pressure with less effort.
Precision
The needle pressure gauge allows you to check the pressure you're inflating your tyres to.Shows increments of 0.5 for bars and 10 for PSI.
Small or large valve?
You can inflate small valves (Presta) and large valves (Schrader).Simply unscrew the end and adjust it for the type of valve (P or S).
How to use your pump
1) Unclip the flexible hose from the pump.2) Unlock the pump by turning the body towards the left.3) Identify the type of valve on your inner tube using the letter on the end.4) Screw the end onto the valve until the connection is secure.5) Move the handle perpendicular to the pump.6) Inflate to the desired pressure.7) To increase to high pressure, stop inflating by locking the body of the pump to only use the central piston.
Guaranteed grip
The ergonomic handle makes inflation easy.
