Superb fold up bike. Only fault I seem to have found is when you tuck the front wheel around to the back, and the lug doesn’t locate properly within the female part and hold the position. Other than that the bike has plenty of gears. Tested the bike in Wales

BROKEN GEAR SHIFTER

Hi, I bought this bike via online but when it came to me today, gear shifter was broken. I hope you fix this problem as soon as possible.

Amazing spec for the price, if a little heavy.

+++ I was looking for a decent hub folder, so to find one with a belt drive for £400 was amazing. This also has a Nexus 7 hub, so there is a good spread of hill climbing and fast gears too. Fun and comfortable riding position, whizzes round town. Lovely "Airstream" metallised finish to this one too. Folder is quick and easy , and yes you can push it along nicely when folded- just as well, because this is not a light bike. Still, that may be the price of no more oily trousers!! - - - Negatives: Unfortunately, I ended up calling back at Decathlon twice on the morning I bought it because of fairly obvious failings in the set up- brakes rubbing and levers blocking a proper fold. Staff were fine correcting them, but these should have been spotted before. Neither brake is really satisfactory and I will have to go back again ; this time to examine if the rear brake is even fit for purpose- v brake has been misaligned and has little stopping power. I also need to check whether the belt drive has been properly set up since it makes more noise than a chain drive when pedalling: so much for the silent mechanism advertised!
