I didn’t realise when I ordered this product that: 1) The flasks are not included 2) You have to either step into the belt or pull it over your head. There’s no clip or zip to fasten/unfasten it off fully. For that reason I returned the item. One good thing is that XS size is available so would fit a female UK size 8.
Really great alternative to a hydration vest. Love the fact it can carry poles and also has bib number holders too.
Good when loaded up but if only using the water holders it leaves a gap around my back and doesn't sit as comfortably. I did use it to run a coastal trail half marathon with a light coat, long sleeve base layer, two water bottles, phone and snacks. For this it was brilliant. Easier to access and more comfortable than a hydration backpack.
Wow, loads of pockets. Love the fact it's in a few different sizes and it's adjustable for the perfect fit. Never moves when I use it. So good I had to get one for my sis!
Good belt. I was worried it was too tight at first but when I put it on with sports shorts it was fine. Settles well with no bounce.
I picked this waist belt up to run half marathon to 50km races, where they have a small amount of mandatory kit. I recently ran a 50km event in it and packed in a first aid kit, emergency blanket, my inhaler, 2 gels, map, long sleeve top, energy powder, bank card and cash, face covering and 2 x 500ml bottles. There was minimal bounce when fully loaded and the adjustment is really quick on the fly as you drink your fluids or remove things from the pack. All the pockets are easy to access and put things back. Soft flasks take a bit of practice to get quick at putting back, but over the course of a 5hr race I didn't consider I lost any time to this. I didn't get any rub or rash from it sitting on my hips. Very pleased with the pack. I am using it loaded even lighter in my next trail half marathon in a week.
Over the years I have owned various running belts but I think this has to be the best value belt in my collection. Just right for runs of 1 to 2 hours on warmer days when you want to carry some water and maybe a snack along with your mobile phone. Very stable in use I have had no issues with the belt working lose even when fully loaded with 2 x 500ml bottles a couple of energy bars and mobile phone.
This waist running belt is so great that I don't need to worry about my phone, keys and other belongings. I highly recommend it and makes your running more enjoyable without the hassle of carrying stuffs in your hands, arms or pockets.
Works fine unloaded but as soon as you put water bottles in it you have a constant battle to stop it falling down. I measured my hips at the widest part as suggested in the instructions but it's just not right. If I get chance to call in to a store (1 hour drive away) I will be returning it.
Sorry to hear that you have a bad experience with our product.
As I can see you measured you hip circumference and you have the right size so it should be fine.I am not sure if you know that you have also tightening straps at the hips, you can pull to tighten or loosen the belt even while you are running.
This straps are on the belt in addition to being stable while you run.
Please try this and if you are still unsatisfied with the product you can return the product and take the refund or maybe to exchange this product for some of our backpacks if the belt is not the best solution for you.
Please let me know if you will need more help with this or any other product from Decathlon running range.

I have several belts and this is by far the best in terms of stability and storage capacity. The depth of the belt and the nature of soft flasks really helps avoid any rolling and slipping. Haven't experienced any material loosening of straps on my two runs (6 & 11 miles) so far - the strap ends can be tucked into the buckle or tied at the buckle to secure them a bit firmer if needed. Great storage, with the phone pocket being waterproof. Middle back pocket does hold a rain jacket if a very thin one tightly wrapped, but might be a challenge with a slightly thicker one. Re size - I am about a 35" waist and bought the XL size. Overall - very happy with this and will use it rather than a back pack on runs up to 2.5 hours or so The only negative is that the soft flasks are a bit fiddly to get out. Hard plastic bottles may be easier. I tend to hold a soft flask a lot of the time when running, if you want to put it back after every sip some people will find that a bit of a pain as its a two hand task and not easy if running at pace.
This is a great belt, very comfortable and good storage for such a small belt. BUT – it loosens all the time, and I had to tighten it every 50 meters or so; completely unsuitable and not fit for purpose at all. This could easily be rectified by a small design change using different buckles, so disappointed. I would have thought this would have been identified during the product development stage but looks like it was missed. I already have the Kalenji Mixed Ultra Trail Running Bag, which is awesome, so had high hopes for this one; I may to look at the Kalenji Trail Running Flask Holder Waistband instead.
I am really sorry to hear that you are not satisfied with this product.I can give you few tips that you can try first:
1.Check if the belt is the right size -measure your hip circumference at the widest part:
-if it is from 78 to 89cm then you should take XS/S
-if it is from 90 to 100 cm you should take M/L
-or if it is from 101 to 108 take the XL size.
2.For more stability when running I would recomend that you wear it "low on the waist" on top of the hips
3.You have tightening straps at the hips-you just need to pull to tighten or loosen the belt in a single step even when running.
Please try this tips and if this belt is not suitable for you after this please feel to return the product in any of our Decathlon stores for an exchange or full refund.

Used on a test 10K trail run at fairly low intensity. Does need occasional adjustment but not excessively so when tightened low across the hips. While the weather is cool I'll leave out one soft flask and use the space for a light jacket, gloves etc. Happily swallowed: my iPhone 6 in a chunky case, 500ml soft flask, 2 gels, neck buff, gloves, light jacket, baseball cap and a Garmin InReach Explorer+ (I was overdoing on the tech for testing!) and my keys. Flask fits back in much more easily if you spin the pouches round to your front for a moment.
Only tried on so far so not been tested on a run. I wouldn't class myself as big. Size 8-10 so I got the XS/S and I can only just get it on as you pull it up rather than it fastening once on waist. It seems secure once on but like I say not tested yet on an actual run. It's got plenty of pockets which I like.
Great when hiking with kids. Can carry two drink bottles 500mls each. Some sweets too.
Compact & versatile

In order to provide extremely comfortable running gear, our design team developed a belt that you slip on like a pair of shorts. Or over your shorts, to be precise. In addition to being stable while you run, it is easy to adjust. Thanks to its tightening straps at the hips, just pull to tighten or loosen the belt in a single step, even when running at full speed.
By carrying the bare necessities in a belt, this frees up your back. This major plus in terms of comfort is particularly pleasant when you are running in hot weather. And with 2 x 500 mL of hydration, i.e. 1 hour of running time, your belt is suited to average outings. What's more, the attachments for your folding poles and race number are just what you need for competitive events.
To start, keep your phone and survival blanket safe in a zipped pocket at the back. The large rear pocket (in the middle) is for your wind jacket, while the small one (at the bottom) is for a cereal bar.You can store the rest of your gels and cereal bars in the 2 front pockets. Then, it's time to put on your belt, like a pair of shorts!Adjust your belt and insert your flexible flasks, poles and race number!
For more stability when running, we recommend that you wear it "low on the waist", i.e. on top of the hips. The flask pockets have a pull-tab for more easily replacing the flasks. You can also loosen your belt a little for more easily inserting your flask. And if your poles are also fastened to your belt, you can rotate it to gain access to your flasks.Try it for yourself!
"We wanted to offer a comfortable solution for trail runners who run without a backpack. The belt provides excellent support, while also freeing up the back. The idea was to have a compact product at the waist and we used the feedback of our customers to perfect the tightening system. In my opinion, it is a good-looking product and the testers loved its innovative features. If you always follow convention, nothing changes."
