Triban 520 700 Double-Walled Front Road Bike Wheel

Shortly after purchasing these I hit a bump in the road and immediately lost all pressure in my tyre. I discovered the rim tape had failed and my tube had blew out into the spoke hole. I had to very carefully ride home with very low pressure, and ultimately ruined two inner tubes. I then had to purchase and fit some good quality zéfal tape and to replace the very poor tape these come with before I could ride again. Since then I have done 4000km without further incident. The wheels are a bit heavy, but are very robust. I would give these 5 stars if the quality of the rim tape was improved.

Bonjour, J'ai acheté cette roue avant pour remplacer ma roue mavic HS, elle fait le job. Petit bémol le poids car elle est conçue en acier et aluminium. A part ca, le point positif c est les roulements scellés du moyeu. Pour un meilleur freinage ,nettoyez la bande de freinage avec du WD40 avant chaque sortie. cordialement
