Product description

Our design teams developed these goggles for intermediate swimmers wanting to swim without worrying about fit and reliability..

Do your goggles leak? Impossible to find the correct adjustment? With the innovating TURN goggles, you cannot go wrong: it is the patented combination of an adjustment wheel and rigid arms!

Description

Our design teams developed these goggles for intermediate swimmers wanting to swim without worrying about fit and reliability..

Why do you need to use swimming goggles?

The swimming (or pool) goggles are used as protective equipment by swimmers of all levels. They are waterproof and protect the eyes against contact with, for example, chlorinated water, and also salt water. They are anti-UV and provide comfortable vision both in and out of water. A pair of swimming goggles is made of several parts: - Lenses, more or less tinted - Seals - Flexible or rigid bridge - Elastic straps with adjustment system

Is fog in goggles unavoidable?

The fog on swimming goggles or masks depends on several factors (body-water difference, humidity level, perspiration, etc.). Our treatments delay the appearance of fog. The anti-fog treatment is a clear varnish applied to the interior of the lenses. It is sensitive to rubbing, which makes the treatment ineffective and leaves marks. To renovate your ageing product, we offer an anti-fog reactivator to be used at each session ensuring you fog-free swimming.

How to choose the size of your swimming goggles?

Optimum watertightness of the swimming goggles is dependent on the seal properly fitting the shape of the swimmer’s face: - Size S for a thin face - Size L for a wide face It is preferable to use a swimming cap to improve the user experience.

And how do you adjust your swimming goggles?

Worried about badly adjusting them, worried about overtightening them, impossible! We combined the technology of an adjustment wheel - similar to that of a cycling helmet - with swimming goggles. The challenge was in the design of the rigid arms and the challenge for engineers was to construct them to within a tenth of a millimetre. You also benefit from the patented EXTEND system, which lets you place goggles on forehead whenever necessary, without having to slacken the adjustment wheel.

What colour lenses should you use for swimming?

The colour of your lenses protects your eyes: so it should be suited to your swimming location and its lighting. If the pool is dark with low lighting, on winter evenings for example, use tinted or clear lenses. If you swim outside or in a swimming pool with bright lighting, use smoked lenses for greater visual comfort and to limit the glare. Lastly mirror lenses give your swimming goggles added style.

Do swimming goggle lenses give effective protection against UV?

Complies with standard QB/T 4734-2023; all Nabaiji swimming goggles protect against harmful UVA and UVB rays when used normally, regardless of the lens tint. Looking directly at the sun is dangerous and can lead to irreversible eye damage.

Do the lenses of your goggles have other functions?

Our swimming goggles are designed to provide sharp distortion-free underwater vision. The curved lenses available on some models combine compactness and wide field of vision. Some models have polarised lenses which limit the glare due to the light reflecting on the water.

What is a pair of swimming goggles made of?

The lenses are made of polycarbonate, they are very impact resistant to protect the swimmer’s eyes. This material has a high transparency. The flexibility of the seals provides comfort and makes the product watertight on the face. They are made of silicone or TPE as are the strong flexible straps for easy fitting, simple adjustment and good stability. The rigid elements of the frames and the adjustment loops are generally made of polycarbonate.

These goggles have been designed for intermediate swimmers but they are suitable for everyone!

At NABAIJI, intermediate swimmers are 8 to 100 years old. They swim at variable frequencies and intensities. Their sessions include 2 to 4 different swimming strokes. On their own or with a trainer, they are driven by a desire for continuous technical, physical or mental improvement.

Are you worried that swimming goggles might be uncomfortable?

Do your swimming goggles tend to pull your hair? We also recommend you to wear a swimming cap for your swimming sessions. What is the advantage? Improved stability of your goggles when swimming and no more pulled hair! Are your lenses always fogged? We recommend you use our anti-fog marker pen which will allow you to swim fog-free and to keep your swimming goggles longer. Effective for 1 to 2 hours between applications!

Is this model the right choice for kids?

The watertightness of the swimming goggles is dependent on the seals properly fitting the shape of the young swimmer’s face: Size S is suitable for kids (thin face) but not for babies.

And if you wear contact lenses?

Water getting between the eye and the contact lens can cause inflammation of the eye. In normal use, the sealing of the swimming goggles partially limits the risk of water ingress. The watertightness can for example be lost following an impact, a high acceleration or during a dive.
