There are now diagonally-sewn pockets and a kangaroo pocket at the back to make items more accessible when running. The kangaroo pocket is particularly useful for carrying your windbreaker — just slip it on when faced with varying mountain conditions!

The gilet has 12 pockets for carrying all your accessories.7 pockets at the front:- 2 pockets for your 2 x 500 ml soft water bottles- 1 zip pocket for your smartphone- 4 pockets for your food and waste, 1 of which has a 110 dB rescue whistle,and 5 pockets at the back, including the easily accessible kangaroo pocket, for carrying all your mandatory race equipment: a wind jacket, a survival blanket, a torch, your documents, etc.
